Leadership Training Organizational leadership-on all levels-often falls short of successfully linking the efforts of the workforce with actual business initiatives and organizational deliverables. Differing leadership abilities and skills, values, philosophies, priorities, and even measurements of success create inconsistencies organization-wide. To complicate matters, leadership training programs are often developed and expressed in terms of 'improving communication' or 'motivating the workforce' instead of supporting organizational improvement initiatives. Organizations need to develop a self-sustaining, internal training system to maintain high levels of excellence and to remain competitive in today's rapidly growing economy. For training to be effective, it should be guided by critical business initiatives, operations, employee development and be tied to specific goals and strategies. CESD partners with organizations to support the leadership team in promoting and sustaining a core set of organizational business values. These values are supported by a small but critical number of fundamental measurements to indicate organizational success. The focus of the project is to support leadership as it guides the workforce in implementing these specific principles, practices, and actions that are identified and supported by the fundamental measurements. CESD delivers leadership training concepts and skills in small blocks and immediately supports the individual leaders in the work environment by coaching them as they apply these skills and concepts toward organizational deliverables. |
